On our very first chit chat, we each share a stereotype that has followed us throughout our lives.
As Latinas, these stereotypes can impact us in a negative manner and can destroy our essence as a person. In this episode, we share how it’s important to not let that stereotype take control of our lives and to reframe it in our favor.
We both have experienced being stereotyped in work, school, and personal lives.
It wasn’t easy to reframe the stereotype and least of all to embrace it in the most positive way, but we were able to.
At the end of the day, the only important thing that matters is that your essence is still intact and that you remember that you’re not alone in this fight.
